Fusilli Writing is owned and run by Chris Tattersall. Chris loves writing very short fiction with a twist, so he developed a competition he would love to enter but unfortunately can’t. See the competition page here. He has since produced numerous free writing resources to help others write flash fiction, which can be seen here.
Chris grew up in Leicestershire, England but now lives in Pembrokeshire in the far west of Wales, UK. Professionally he has worked in the National Health Service since 1993, primarily as an ophthalmic nurse in Nottingham and then research manager in Wales, resulting in numerous academic publications (mostly related to glaucoma and elderly care), however, his writing passion is for flash fiction.
Chris’s creative writing career began in 2015 after winning the ‘Lacomic Cup’ hosted by Headstuff.com which involved a five-round flash fiction competition and gave him his first ever writing payment of 1,000 Euros. Wouldn’t anyone get addicted after that?
